Adaptive Fitness Trainer II
MedFit Verified Trainer
Massage therapist
Jane joined our Adaptive Coverage Trainer pool in March of 2021, a recent grad of the NVCC PTA program she brings a unique skill set to the Adaptive Trainer team...
" I was born in Los Angeles, CA and started moving around the country after I married my husband, who was an active duty Air Force officer for over 20 years. We settled in Northern Virginia after my husband retired from the military in 2018, having lived here a total of three times. Other places we have lived were: Colorado Springs and Denver, CO; Minot, North Dakota; and Montgomery, Alabama. We have met some wonderful people and seen some beautiful parts of the country along the way.
After majoring in Human Biology in college, I explored different career options in health and wellness before settling on massage therapy. I have been lucky enough to enjoy a long career in massage therapy (over 20 years), and was able to carry it with me through all of our cross-country moves. It also allowed me a flexible schedule to be an involved mom to our now 21 year old daughter.
Once my daughter graduated high school and moved out I looked for a new challenge for myself, which I found in NOVA’s 2 year Physical Therapist Assistant program. I graduated in May 2021, and received my license in July. I am excited to put my new skills to work in service of DPI’s dedicated clients."
Jane is currently enrolled in the Adaptive Fitness Specialist Coursework through the Medical Fitness Network and is a dedicated and passionate member of the DPI Adaptive Fitness Trainer Team.
Jane works 1:1 with adaptive clients, is a group class trainer, and accepts booking for Massage Therapy at DPI.
