We work with and have experience working with individuals of all physical disability diagnosis in one on one and group settings. We regularly work with the following diagnosis following or in addition to their traditional therapy:

Our youngest adaptive fitness participant is 6 years old and our oldest has been 91 years young both of varying diagnosis
3. Do I have to attend a diagnosis specific class to participate?
While we do offer diagnosis specific classes, all of our classes are appropriate for all abilities. (Here is why.....)
Our Adaptive Trainers have experience working with all abilities and can safely adapt and uniquely individualize a challenge for the following diagnosis in group setting: Stroke, SCI, Amputee, MS, Parkinsons, CP, SB, and many more....We are experts in the field of adaptive fitness and put the safety of our participants before all else. We don't just adapt to get you moving, we observe and discuss current need and limitations and then apply individualized adaptive exercise during group or 1:1 session to help improve your function.

4. How much does it cost?
Some of our programming is provided at no cost through partnerships with the Sabrina Cohen Foundation and the Adaptive Fitness Legion, other classes are nominally priced at $20 per person, our 1:1 sessions range from $85-$150 for individualized programming and attention.
5. Do you offer discounts?
While we don't offer discounts for our 1:1 sessions, we do offer discounted group class memberships and also have the no cost option for everyone. Additionally, you can apply for a fitness award through the Adaptive Fitness Legion (AFL) a 501 (c)(3) for fully funded sessions.

7. Can I bring my trainer or therapist to see what I do here?
We respectfully ask that you inquire directly with us. We respect the privacy of our other sessions and classes and do not want anything to be taken out of context and utilized in an unsafe manner.
In addition, outside trainers or therapists training or hands on with you while at DPI Adaptive Fitness during member or open gym time is NOT Permitted. We have a team of adaptive trainers that utilize the adaptive training strategies we believe can maximize your outcomes, if you're interested in working with one of our adaptive trainers let us know and we'll set you up for an assessment!

8. I am a trainer and am interested in learning about what you do, can I stop in to check it out?
We ask that you instead contact us to schedule a visit that is convenient with our gym's needs, we work by appointment only and focus 100% attention to our clients.
In addition, If you are interested in our no cost classes or any other class but are not a participant please do not reserve a space that could be open for someone wanting to utilize the adaptive gym.

9. Why are sign ups important?
We strive to offer the BEST adaptive fitness experience possible, in doing so we plan according to the number of and ability of participants signed up.

10. Do I have to fill out a waiver?
Yes, for anyone to participate in the programming that we provide a fully completed Group class or individual session waiver must be completed. Our group class waivers and individual session waivers can be found on the Forms tab of our website.
11. I signed up for the Saturday AFL Adaptive Open Gym what can I expect?
The Saturday Open gym time is an open time where participants can utilize the knowledge of our adaptive trainer team for adaptive workout options, or to use our adaptive fitness equipment. It is NOT 1:1 Fitness time, we staff 3-4 trainers per 4-5 participants. Please be patient and respectful as our team does our best to help everyone while ensuring safety for all!
